From 16 to 20 June 2019, Capfruit hosted teams from Euraco Finefood, the distributor of Capfruit products in Singapore. They were accompanied by a group of chefs from prestigious establishments in Singapore. They had all come to France to take part in the 13th ‘Casse-Croûte des Chefs’.
It was also an opportunity for them to explore the surrounding area. They enjoyed a tour of and tasting at the Tain winery, and a trip to Lyon to admire the pastries and gastronomy.
In addition, they were hosted by the ‘Pâtisserie Degraeve’ in Davézieux for two days of workshops where they got involved in the making. They tried out several recipes created by Julien Degraeve, the owner and pastry chef who led the workshops, and they had the chance to share their techniques and expertise.
7 gourmet, fruit-filled recipes were made in total, all based on Capfruit fruit purées. The Euraco Finefood teams had the opportunity to use Capfruit products in real-life scenarios and to increase their knowledge about fruit purées.
