CAPSOURCE

It is in Vietnam, in the central mountain region named Tây Nguyên in Vietnamese, that our partner-producer cultivates the passion fruit dedicated to Fruit Elite “Vintage” Passion fruit.

Located in the south of Vietnam, this region is made of a series of plateaus that can reach an altitude of 500 to 800 m. The soil is rich in basalt. The tropical climate offers high humidity all year round, making it the ideal environment for growing passion fruit.

Also known as pomegranates, passion fruit grows as a woody and exuberant climbing plant, giving splendid and fragrant flowers that can be recognized among all. This fruit, the size of an egg, offers sweet and slightly acidic flavors with pronounced floral notes.

Harvested by hand from March to July, the passion fruit is not treated in any way during or after harvesting, in accordance with the specifications established jointly with our partner-producer. This long-term commitment allows us to guarantee a constant quality of our products and to control our impact on the environment by limiting the use of pesticides to a strict minimum.
