Town & Country Fine Foods has been the sole UK distributor of Capfruit products for several months now. To celebrate this new partnership, a special event was organised close to London in Slough, Berkshire.
From 10 to 12 September 2019, 48 chefs from prestigious London establishments were able to discover or rediscover Capfruit’s products during specialist workshops. Angelo Musa, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France award winner and Pastry World Champion did us the honour of sharing his expertise and flair for excellence during 3 days of masterclasses. He was supported by Jérôme Dreux, the pastry chef at Town & Country Fine Foods, who was in charge of the event.
During the demonstration, chefs had the opportunity to cook 4 gourmet, fruit-filled recipes. These recipes, created by Angelo Musa, illustrate his penchant for flavours and their use. Each recipe showcased a technique. For example, the ‘100% Apricot’ recipe involved working with different textures using Capfruit fruit purées.
